Our client is a recently formed execution-only fintech introducer and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Their goal is to make investing easy using their innovative smartphone app by enabling users to make regular and one-off payments into a general investment account or Stocks & Shares ISA, investing into one of a number of risk-rated portfolios.
The Challenge:
Quai were engaged to develop a back office solution to power their app and cater for all white-labelled ISA product administration needs, including the integration with the product provider and the management of investment administration. This was unusual in that all the administration was required to be undertaken with minimum use of a website, as this is phone app based.
How we solved it:
Working with our client, Quai has built the product engine to power the back office requirements, linking to their white-labeled ISA product provider and integrating this with a full investment solution to administer their managed portfolios. The solution includes product administration, cash management, trading and custody.
The Outcome:
Our client is now one of the fastest growing ISAs in UK today. Quai fully automated the management of all cash and securities transactions and, within 6 months of launch, facilitates over 100,000 retail investor trades on a weekly basis.
